Lemonade
If your day hands you lemons - make lemonade.
If your day hands swelling, nausea, CT scans, ultrasounds, platelets, six antibiotics, fever, ice packs, cankles, biopsy, and more - don't make anything.
Just push the morphine button and go back to sleep.
Today was a rough and scary day with a happy ending. You see, there are three symptoms which occurred each time the cancer came back in March and April. Those three symptoms all showed up today, and it took all day to run tests and studies. By the time the results came that his symptoms were all just from expected fluid build-up and minor stuff, we were too exhausted to enjoy the good news. No signs of cancer.
Day 10 in the books. Thank goodness!

Have to admit-I had to google cankle!
So sorry everyone had such a bad day. I think pushing the button was a great solution - did the nurses pass out some goodie bags for the rest of you?! Hope you get back to floppin' and hitting the exit sign soon. Hugs and kisses to all. Dora
