Good day, cool bracelets

Today is Mother's Day and day 5 has been a good one for Mom and Drew. No tests, only a low grade fever - expected - but still able to take lots of walks, visit with ECU friends and enjoy plenty of shakes - a full day. We have learned not to over-react (like when his platelets are at 7,000 when ours are cruising at 250,000) but focus on the day and head in to the next one. Our medical team has an answer for every problem so far.

We are blessed with a tremendous family and great friends. It seems everyone is as determined as Drew is to beat this disease. Robin Caruso and Robin Buttrey have channeled their efforts in TEAM LLEWLLYN bracelets. Yep, you guessed it - Charlotte Soccer Club Blue with Team Llewellyn and GAME ON embossed around the bracelet. For those that would like one to wear or hang 'em on your frig or your key chain or wherever - you can get a bracelet by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Robin Caruso
2902 Providence View Lane
Charlotte, NC 28270

Thanks Robins! Drew was absolutely taken back when he saw them. We appreciate everyone thinking, praying, and concentrating on growing new cells. A very good day and the 'Canes won the series as well!

Am glad all is going pretty well for all of you. You certainly have many, many fantastic friends and family going through this with you daily. We've ordered 2 of the bracelets and will pass the word. Will be anxiously awaiting them. Your strength is an inspiration. Know you will continue to improve and feel better each day. Again, you and your family never cease to amaze me! Have a wonderful day! Love & Prayers...Pam & Charles
