Tough!

Through out this whole process we have always been told there will be times when this is going to be really tough. Today was one of those days.

We are seeing how physically strong Drew truly is and how mentally tough he has to be. While his kidney function have greatly improved, a few bags of blood have perked him up and Wanda appears to be continuing with her mission - there is so much more. We can not accurately explain all that is happening to his body or what he is going through - but know he is feeling the strengh from his family and friends.

This is Drew's twenty-eighth night in room 9216 - it has been a long one for the Llewellyn men (Boxley & Ben). Jane returned to Charlotte for a brief visit to hold and admire her grandson, Westbrook. Back to Durham in the late morning.

Day 17 done and hopeful tomorrow will be easier for all.

Way to go Boxley & Ben! I know none of this is easy.
Drew, I bet you had lots of laughs and probably wanted your mom (lol) as all "children" do when they are sick. Know Jane is enjoying her break with WB.
We are so thankful, proud, and amazed at all of Team Llewellyn!
Love and prayers,
Pam & Charles

Drew & Family,
Keep hanging in there. We know the results will be worth the
effort. As soon as school is done,
we plan to visit you up in Durham
(We just can't say we're going to
Duke!). Take care, keep up your
mental, physical, and emotional
strength. Everyone is praying for
you. Ray & Maureen Fumo
